100% Digital Admission Process
An important local university hired Amable to create a fully digital admissions process that would improve the prospective student's experience and make it world class. The project involved qualitative discovery research with a strong emphasis on undergrad students and their parents' involvement in the admissions process, a conceptualization process, where we created an analogy to explain the value proposition of the new admissions process, and the design and testing of a 100% digital experience that would prepare incoming students to start their education without anxiousness and with careful direction. The client requested no visual design be delivered along with the mid-fidelity prototypes because they had in-house UI resources.
Project Contribution
We worked this project as a 2-person team. I oversaw the project as Project Lead contributing key ideas and giving pointers, having Mario Vingerhoets (Senior UX Consultant) perform most research and design activities. Mario was in charge of handling all project deliverables, and included me in key parts of the process to discuss insights and communication strategies. The concept we pitched was a success and received the green light to be implemented in September 2022.
